API Terms of Service
By accessing the Cobra Connect Distribution API, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure the stability and reliability of our platform for all partners.
1Access & Acceptable Use
Access to the Cobra Connect Distribution API is granted to registered business partners only. You agree to use the API solely for legitimate procurement and inventory management purposes. We reserve the right to revoke access if suspicious activity is detected, including but not limited to attempts to scrape competitive data or disrupt service availability.
2Rate Limits & Fair Use
You agree to respect the rate limits defined in the documentation. Requests exceeding these limits will be rejected with a 429 Too Many Requests status. Attempts to circumvent rate limiting via multiple accounts, IP spoofing, or distributed networks will result in immediate termination of your API credentials.
3Data Caching & Freshness
You may cache product data (titles, descriptions, images, specifications) for up to 24 hours to improve performance. However, Pricing and Stock Levels must not be cached for more than 15 minutes. Deploying stale pricing to your customers may result in order cancellations if the price has changed significantly on our end.
4Liability & Warranties
Cobra Connect Distribution provides this API "as is" and "as available". We utilize best-efforts to ensure 99.9% uptime, but we are not liable for any business losses incurred due to API downtime, data inaccuracies, or network failures. In the event of an API outage, please use the Partner Portal for critical orders.
